转学
Transfer 取向 is virtual. During the orientation process, students will gain useful insights about their academic major, meet with an advisor to finalize their class schedule for first semester courses, and learn about campus resources. 所有转学生 are required to complete their 在线 取向 modules before meeting with an advisor and scheduling classes.
To complete 转移态取向
1. 激活你的Sycamore登录 通过MyISU 学生门户.
- Your University ID Number can be found on your Letter of Admission.

2. Confirm your enrollment and access your 取向 Modules 在你的 新生仪表板.
All Transfer students, on-campus and distance, will complete 在线 取向. For students entering in summer and fall, 在线 取向 will be available beginning in March. For students entering in spring, 在线 取向 will be available beginning in September.
- We encourage your to log into your 新生仪表板 定期地, as this is where you can view complete and incomplete items 在你的 checklist of things to do before 国家取向.
3. 设置你的大学邮箱.
- Your official form of communication with the University. 经常检查!

- We encourage you to check your Sycamore 电子邮件 定期地. 最好的方法是 adding your Sycamore email account 你的电话. 你可以 also access it by logging into your MyISU门户 and selecting the "Student 电子邮件" badge. Your Sycamore email is the official form of communication between you and the university, and all future information about 国家取向 will be sent only to your Sycamore email.

Please note: This is required for all new students and will not be offered during the program. 学生 who have not taken their 数学的位置 prior will be placed in the lowest math course.
第二步:确认你的目标 住房的意图 在MyISU门户中. This is required for ALL students.
- Go to the ISU Housing Portal link 在你的 MyISU portal to finish your process.
- Pick your housing community and select your roommate.
- If you are not planning to live on campus, you will still need to complete the intention and inform 住宅生活 of your plans to live off campus. You may do this by completeing the 房屋豁免程序. 请电子邮件 ResLife@germancontrol.net with any questions you may have.
- You will choose your 膳食计划 when completeing your 住房的意图. All on-campus students are required to have a 膳食计划. Commuter students can choose a commuter 膳食计划, if desired.
第三步:完成FAFSA.
- 完成你的 Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (ISU代码 001807). The Office of 金融援助 can assist with any questions.
- 应用 for veterans benefits with 退伍军人服务.
- 你可以 schedule a separate in-person or virtual appointment with the Office of Student 金融援助.

转移态取向
所有转学生 must complete the 在线 取向 modules found in their MyISU门户. Transfer students will meet with an academic advisor to register for classes only after completion of their modules. All information regarding 国家取向 for Transfer students will be sent to their Sycamore email.
- 所有转学生 will attend an online orientation session.
- 所有国际学生 will attend a two-day 国家取向 program in either January (spring start) or August (fall start). For step-by-step instructions, 探访国际学生.
