The Department of 地球 and 环境系统 offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology, 人类学, and 地理位置 and Sustainability and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental 地球科学.  学生 may pursue minors in anthropology, 气候学, 地球科学, 环境科学, 地球化学, geographic information science, 地理位置, 地质, 和可持续性. Anthropologists study the origin, development, and behavior of 人类. They examine cultures, 语言, 考古遗址, and physical characteristics of people in various parts of the world. Geoscientists study the composition, structure, and other physical aspects of the earth. As a unit within the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of 地球 and 环境系统 offers a curriculum that leads to a bachelor of arts or a bachelor of science degree in either earth and 环境科学s or human and environmental systems. Candidates for these degrees must complete the University requirement of a minimum of 120 credits, including Foundational Studies course work, as well as the requirements for the departmental majors and concentrations. Candidates for a bachelor of arts degree must also complete two years, 或者类似的, of a non-native language.
